Dave (KI6LSF) and I headed to Fremont Peak to retrieve the Burning Ham 2015 temporary repeater. Hike was a quick one as we had to be back in the Corona area by noon. Took about 30 minutes to hike up and about the same to get down. Dave is a mountain goat as he took both SLAB batteries in his backpack and started with the solar panel strung around his neck. I took the pelican case containing the repeater and the antenna. About half way down I was able to carry the solar panel to the truck.
Weather was absolutely perfect. Clear sunny day and when we left the truck is was about 75 degrees. Enjoy some of the footage on the way up and at the summit. Hands were a bit pre-occupied to video the trip off the peak so no footage of Dave carrying the load.
